Chicken Strips N Fries with SnS Honey Mustard Sauce
Your Fry-Day recipe for comfort food minus the deep fry inflammatory oils that leave you feeling bloated and lethargic 👇🏽
Cut your potatoes up and let them soak in hot water for 20 mins. Dry them really well and spray with avo and season generously with parsley, garlic and salt. Air fry at 405 for 30-40 mins flipping half way.
Mix gluten free rice crumbs with simply organic’s chicken seasoning mix (grabbed these both at Choice’s) Cut the chicken into evenly sized strips and dip in egg (I used a duck egg) and then into your breading mixture. Spray both sides with avo oil and cook at 425 for 10 mins per side or until the breading is golden brown and crispy.
Make your sauce bae! This is a rough estimate so taste and adjust accordingly.
1/2 cup soaked cashews
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Manuka honey + some monk fruit sweetener if you want added sweetness
5 tbsp mustard (I used a mix of Dijon and Green Table Food’s Living Mustard which is a wild fermented blend of mustard, ACV, turmeric for a probiotic and enzyme rich addition)
Dash of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper
Add enough water to reach desired consistency (start with 1/8-1/4 cup)
